Hungary for Love partnered with Snétberger Music Talent Center and Igazgyöngy Alapítvány – Berettyóújfalu (Real Pearl Foundation) to bring a group of students who’ve never left their village to the Music Talent Center to paint murals that will beautify Snétberger’s newest construction project – a recording studio. The Center is a renowned institution where musically talented Roma youth receive world-class training and mentoring to pursue a career in music. Igazgyöngy serves the Roma population through many different avenues, including an art education program for local youth. These aspiring artists are given the chance to hone their artistic ability, gain confidence, and express themselves through their work. While with us at Snétberger, the students painted stunning expressions of their culture and heritage. Upon completion of the recording studio, these murals will be sold to raise funds that will support the work of both organizations. The HFL team provided labor and materials to repaint the interior of Snétberger’s academic building.
