In August of 2017 we visited Kéc, Romania to help construct a community center that will give the nearby villagers access to educational opportunity, skill development, and much love and support. We worked with our partner Keresztyén Cigánymisszió Alapítvány (KCA, or Christian Gypsymission Foundation in English) to purchase specific materials and contract local labor from the community. Our collaboration resulted in building the frame and roof of the center with the windows and doors added in shortly after we left. Thank you to our partners and donors who allowed us to be part of this amazing project!
Of course, we also threw a community gathering to celebrate the people and to show love to the neighborhood!
